We replaced an older HP of the similar model to this newer one. It seems cheaper built but seems to work about the same as the old one. Good value.

I purchased this printer and use it every day for my home based business. When printing it Scanning is great no issues! The printer is super fast and then it is not. For some reason it gets hung up quite a bit.An item gets stuck in the printer que. I then have to pull the plug and turn it back on. Only then does the item in the que finally print. I seached how to fix this and have no luck. Customer service is nill. Only searchable categories. Why do we have to search the web for hours to get something fixed these days?!

Great series of all-in-one machines
We have three generations of the HP all-in-one in our small office. We started with the M425. Then we added the M426. Now we have the M428. They are work horse machines. Love the wireless feature! It allows normal print or scan, but I can also connect to it with my phone. Great machines with a great history.

Ed's new MFP428
I am happy with general functions of the printer, but I cannot the blue tooth working, I've had to hard wire to my main computer and of course cannot print from my other computers. Please send help. Would consider recommending if this were fixed

Service from HP online Store AMAZING
I order the wrong printer, and I called to get the correct one. My luck, they were out of stock on it, and they suggest the HP Color Laser Pro MFP M479frw. It's a great printer love all the features - easy to hook up; within minutes, I was coping, scan, faxing. I learn something new every day with the machine. The service to replace it was professional from start to finish. I spend $200 on a printer and every 3 to 4 months I have to replace it. I can tell that this printer is made to last, and it handles two businesses. I do a lot of print, and its speed is good. No issues so far. THANK YOU, HP, for recommending this machine.

Nice machine.
I am happy with this laser printer. It's my first laser printer and I don't think I'll ever have anything else. I purchased it from the HP website in October of 2020 and its performance was absolutely perfect up until about 3 weeks ago. It started not responding when I sent print jobs to it from my iMac. When this happens, I have to turn it off and turn it back on and the job prints. I don't know what could be causing this issue. It's an inconvenience, but I still am very happy with the machine.

Terrible Print/ Jam issues... don't buy
This product was the worst purchase made. I was unable to print without the system jamming. I use the best quality print paper and I was still unable to print with out jams. After a few hours of trying to resolve the issue. I just called it a day and returned the product. I don't need 24 hrs to decide the product was a "lemon" and replaced the purchase with a better product BROTHER.

I have only had tis printer two weeks and it is performing very well. I needed to upgrade to a wireless printer so i can print from my phone or anywhere in the house. I use everything but the fax as I have not set it up yet.

Nice multifunction printer
Very nice multifunction laser printer, I've had several in my office over the years. Most have been hp and last about 5 years with pretty much use. The only thing I don't like about this printer is the paper handling from the main tray. Things have to be put in upside down and facing away from the printer. This makes printing multiple checks in one batch a pain as you have to put your checks in the tray in reverse order.

Never will buy from HP directly again.
will never buy from HP again. Received the wrong printer (Warehouse Mistake) I had to take it myself to fedex to send it back. I was on phone forever to have someone send us the correct one. After a week not receiving the printer had to call to see what happened. They said they are out. Unbelivable that I did not even get an update email telling me that the printer not available. I had to call again spend a long time on phone to get credit back. What a waste of my time. My IT told me not to buy direct from HP I should have Listened.

Love my LaserJet Pro MFP!!!
My new Laser printer is much efficient and user friendly than my previous and also much loved old HP laser printer. It makes clear copies with no wait. It is versatile with plenty of functions. It takes less space than the previous version and with more options. I highly recommend HP. Be aware and do not buy through PayPal, they have lousy customer service!

I have this printer and the scan to email feature stopped working. Help!
You may want to go through the steps to setup scan to email again, the instructions are in the user guide https://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06184015.pdf on page 69. If that does not work, you will want to contact HP Support https://support.hp.com/us-en and have them help you fix the issue.
