Rated 1 out of 5 by RailNet from Not Again??? Back to the Repair Location..... Less than two weeks out of the box the computer started doing restarts. Would not download updates. Would not do resets. Restarts continued to increase in frequency. Memory Module 64 failure identified in test mode. One month out I finally was able to speak to a tech. who said it needed to be sent in for repair. Very disappointed. I had purchased an HP laptop in 2024 that also had to be sent in for repair. I am a long time HP customer.....this might be my last.

This is basically my 2nd system that I keep available in our kitchen for when I grab coffee in the morning and review my calendar and read the various news events of the day. No touch screen or Facial "Hello" or fingerprint reader. You do have PIN set up available for security. The screen clarity is great. If you're looking for a basic system that IS just a laptop, this system is in that category

Rated 5 out of 5 by EHV2 from Excellent Laptop With so many laptops to choose from, it can be difficult to decide and sort through all the components which is why I chose to build the one I bought. It pays to lay out what your requirements are and then match that to what is for sale. Being able to specify my requirements was the main reason I chose HP along with the fact that my previous HP was 10 years old and still working fine except for the battery. I decided to update as opposed to trying to replace the battery. I am very happy with my purchase outside of the fact that the keyboard contains a number pad which I somehow missed/don’t really like/not used to but since I wanted a 17” screen, it must have some with that option. The set-up was easy as was transferring/figuring out what Apps to use with Windows 11. I did purchase Microsoft 365 suite (didn’t include Access—why??) as I refuse to pay for another subscription Cloud service and where I live the Internet can be sketchy which challenges Cloud access. The ordering process was easy and delivery fairly quick. This brand is trustworthy and reliable.

Is HP Laptop 17t-cn300, 17.3" good for light gaming on Roblox? I'm thinking of buying my son a laptop for Christmas and this laptop sounds like a nice and large budget laptop.

For any software, you will want to check the publisher's website for the system requirements to make sure it meets the requirements for the setting you would like to use with that software. Updates can change those requirements which can prevent you from using your preferred settings or stop it from working with your device. With online software, your internet connection will also impact how well it will run. Roblox will currently run on this device.
