Disappointed thus far
I bought the "Instant Ink" card when I installed the printer. I have replaced the cartridges and mailed back the empties weeks ago. Thus far I have not received any replacements. So much for the "Instant" part.

What a waste
I think it is ridiculous that I bought a printer with tiny ink cartridges and an eCard that makes you subscribe to instant ink. They shipped me replacement ink within 2 days of installing the printer. I had only used the printer to print the test and alignment sheets at that point. Here almost 2 months later I have gotten no more ink and I haven't even replaced the original cartridges that came with the printer. So I got tiny cartridges in the package with the printer, they made me sign up for free ink (about 30 min of redundant online forms) They immediately shipped me new ink and now I have to go in and unsubscribe from the online ink monitoring when my free trial is up. Inefficient to the extreme, terrible experience, extra waste, and extra work for what should be a simple and easy printer swap out.

The ink works well until today when it shows light or missing words due to low level of black ink, but I didn't get the shipping of instant inks yet. both inks are all very low now.

Great idea.
This, I think, is the greatest idea for HP to come up with. Never need to run out to get ink, or paper. They monitor that and ship it to you before you need it in a near just in time scenario.
