Great idea.
This, I think, is the greatest idea for HP to come up with. Never need to run out to get ink, or paper. They monitor that and ship it to you before you need it in a near just in time scenario.

Hello, Nina. Thanks for your question. With HP Instant Ink, you do need to keep your printer connected to the WiFi. That way HP can tell when you need ink and send it to you. If your printer loses a WiFi connection or you have turned off the printer, HP will send you an email reminding you to reconnect the printer to the WiFi. You would cancel the current plan and start up a new one with the next printer. If you get any of the current HP+ models, opting in for HP+ during the setup using the HP Smart app, you will get free months of Instant Ink as a part of it.
