Rated 1 out of 5 by MCap from In for Repairs When I turned it on for the very first time the screen had several red lines that run from the top to the bottom of the screen. Called the HP service line and the representative said it would have to be sent in to the repair shop, needless to say that is not what I wanted to hear, I was expecting to send this one back and get a new replacement. As I stated to the representative if I bought it at XXX store I would be able to take it back and exchange it not send it in for repairs. So as of today it is in the repair shop so maybe I will get it back as a Christmas present. Does not look good for HP when friends ask and I tell them oh I haven't used the computer yet, it is in for repairs. One even replied back and stated it sounds like you will have a "refurbished" computer when you get it. In my opinion it would have been better for the company's reputation to exchange the computer since it was brand new, I mean I did not even load a single item on the computer, never even made it past the set-up procedures so it's not like I had this for six months and the problem just came up. Okay I have vented but I hope I don't get any more "Tell Us What You Think" requests because this is the second one and each time it just makes me more frustrated to type in this info.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jerry G. from Good computer - weak delivery process We recently replaced our trusty HP Envy 15T after seven years of reliable service. Initially, we thought we could get by with a low-cost HP laptop for $350, but the video quality was simply not up to par for our needs so I ordered the X360 directly from HP. This computer is our daily workhorse, used mainly for web browsing and occasional note-taking. The ordering process took a bit longer than expected, with the laptop shipping directly from China. Being accustomed to Amazon's speedy deliveries, this delay seemed a tad inefficient. While a two-week delay would have been more problematic if we'd ordered the laptop for a business trip based on the initial delivery estimate. We're docking a star for the extended shipping time, as it's almost 2024 and companies should have a good grasp of their manufacturing and delivery lead times. Overall, the laptop is performing admirably. The screen is bright and clear, there's no lag in daily tasks, and the keyboard lettering has good contrast (I'm amazed at some with white letters on silver keys and no backlighting). While we haven't used the flip-and-fold feature, we can appreciate its potential appeal for others. As someone who's been purchasing personal computers since the days of my Apple II over four decades ago, I'm continually amazed by the advancements in both performance and affordability. Today's computers are truly remarkable. Therefore, we have high expectations for brand-name laptops to simply work as intended, and this HP model meets that expectation. In summary, the laptop delivers on its promises, but the ordering process could have been more accurate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ron117 from My 2nd HP Envy 360 2-n-1 This is my 2nd HP Envy 360 2-n-1, so that should tell you what I think. It’s a great reliable laptop. My first one is going on four years with no issues. I purchased this one to replace a competitor’s laptop I purchased less than two years ago and has been nothing but trouble. Lesson learned and I’m sticking with HP from now on.

The HP Envy x360 is easy to set up especially since I am not tech savvy. The online support along with printable instructions are outstanding. Thank you HP for creating a product I can use while increasing my capabilities. I look forward to increasing my knowledge and utilization of the computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pat A. from Won’t order from HP again. I’ve never been so frustrated with customer service as with this order. It took way too long and I could have gone to Costco and gotten the exact computer. I ordered one in August and did not have to sign for it. This one I did and instead of ringing the doorbell, the driver knocked, then left before I could get to the door. All around bad experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suzi computer geek from Love this HP computer! Clean sleek design. Fast retreaval great PC for personal needs. Easy to buy on line direct from HP. I needed an upgrade having an older computer that was boging down with all the upgrades in software. The new computer is fast to load and has all the bells and whistles I need. So far I am very happy with this computer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Microsoft office I paid to have added to new computer Didn’t receive code for Microsoft office. Called HP and after 45 minutes I demanded, nicely, to be transferred to a supervisor or manager. I was being transferred back and forth to technical support and Customer Service. Finally the supervisor made everything right. I had to pay the IT person an extra hour even though it was not my fault. HP, please hire better C/S REPS. I actually have never had an issue all the years I’ve bought products until now and I’m in my 70’s. Sad

Rated 4 out of 5 by ATBaron from Overall, a nice laptop. I was due for a new computer and wanted something flexible for my needs. The HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop fits the bill nicely. I like the speed at which the device turns on and the power button on the keyboard. My old laptop had a side button that would get pushed occasionally, putting it to sleep. The processing power is snappy. There are not many lags except when Windows wants to notify me about the millionth item on their agenda. The keys on the keyboard are spaced slightly further apart than my other devices, so it takes a moment to transition from one to the other. The screen is crisp and bright with great touch sensitivity. It may actually be too sensitive. I do wish it wasn't a glossy surface, as I am outdoors with it frequently, and the glare and reflections are atrocious, even in bright rooms. It's worse since I use dark mode in Windows. I do appreciate the web camera cover built into the device. Nobody wants to see my ugly mug accidentally. The touchpad is a nice size, but the left bottom corner sticks when the device is on my lap and sometimes on a table. Both my kids have the same computer and have noticed the same issue. the metallic surface of the body doesn't leave obvious fingerprints and reflects some heat from the sun when outdoors. The battery lasts a while even when I am watching videos or have the screen at full brightness. Storage is more than adequate, especially since I have large files from Excel or illustrations. The ports, 2 USB, 2 Thunderbolt, HDMI, SD, and headphones are great, but one additional USB/Thunderbolt would be nice, especially when using an external mouse and keyboard. I won't get into the pros/cons of Windows 11, but the computer itself does the job that I need it to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by High Hopes from LOTS OF GREAT FEATURES. I'D LIKE TO CHANGE A FEW. PROS - Very nice key tap feel - Great keyboard backlight. Nice and bright. - Excellent screen, colors, picture, etc. - Nice and thin. Lighter weight than expected, even with major upgrades/customization - Sound is amazing! Big volume- rare with most computers. Bang and Olufsen is best out there. - Unplugged from power for the night. Next morning still had 97% battery. Impressive! - Too new to have tried all features, but should serve the purpose of very heavy business use very well. CONS: - Touch pad too slick. Pads need some surface texture for better control. - Old fashioned, heavy, stiff cord came with this computer instead of providing a flexible, non-kinking woven nylon one like Spectres have. - Wish there was a power plug on both sides instead of just right side. Need mine on left, so it's very awkward to have to use plug on the right size. - Not a fan of deep touch pad. Forces hand too far forward on the computer. Will get used to it, probably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ringuettea from Great laptop! We're loving this laptop! It was easy enough to set up (our 6th grader got it up and running for the various users we'll have on this device). The keyboard is really comfortable and the touch screen has beautifully crisp images! There hasn't been anything we haven't liked about it. It was recommended my nephew who is a university student studying computer science and programming- so we didn't have to do any research!

Rated 4 out of 5 by sam_p from Improvement from my last laptop Enjoying it a lot so far even though I have had it less than a month. Might have more to say later on. It's an improvement from my last one. I love how versatile it is. Sadly does not come with a pen so needed to purchase that separately. The speakers are better than my last computer but still not the best quality wise. I love the backlight on the keyboard. The feature I don't really care for is how touchy the touchpad it. Going to get a separate mouse so I do not have to deal with it. Sometimes it'll go slow when opening multiple windows at once when I first turn it on but otherwise not too bad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MayaK from Meh.. It's cool enough, but days in the mousepad keeps lagging and I've already had a "Your device ran into a problem" and force restarted. I've never had issues with an HP this early on before and the customer service portal on HP Support is never working. Boo, HP. Think I'll make the switch after this one- a shame because I dearly loved my HP 17 from 2020.
