Poor delivery follow up and HP is NOT made in USA
The ordering process was perfect. I got just what I needed and at a great price. I just wasn't told that the laptop would be coming from China. Tracking the package showed me that it left China at a reasonable time but when it got to USA it was held up getting through customs. Nobody would tell me why it was being held up and I had to talk to too many people to finally get my package to finally start moving and get to me. I even had to change my delivery to hold at the station so that I wouldn't miss the delivery. It took over a week to move from the entrance port to Maryland.

Poor shipping practices, lousy off shore customer service.
You did not follow up on the shipment. Off shore customer service didn't help. I never received it. Ended up buying a U.S.A. built Lenovo.

Great Quality Laptop
This has been a good quality Laptop. Starts up and shuts down very quick. It is great to have touch screen that works great, along with the screen that can be set up very quickly to watch a movie.
I am very happy that I choose to purchase this Laptop and yes I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to purchase a new Laptop.

Great with one BIG issue
I bought this computer twice. I had to return the first one because when you press on the mouse pad it gets & stays stuck down. Now, I have received the replacement and it is doing the exact same thing! What a nightmare. The computer is beautiful with a great picture but the mouse pad is a BIG issue.

Meets tech needs and budget
Bought for light to moderate use to replace home/office laptop that can't run Windows 11. Chose this laptop to get the best tech possible at a good price for upgrading SSD, CPU, and video. Intel graphics is acceptable as no gaming use. The included pen was a bonus. Lightweight and size are important to make it easier to travel with an acceptable screen size.
Easy to setup. Not a lot of bloatware. Will be used at home office and in-office. Some use in a conference room for presentations possibly in tablet mode with the pen.
At the office the laptop is used with a large monitor, wireless mouse and keyboard.

I had a positive experience with the agent (Isabela) who helped me upgrade my account to the Education program for the student discount. The laptop has been good overall, but I have encountered an issue with the pen. It doesn't write consistently; there are moments when it skips for a few seconds before picking up again

Touchpad disappointing
The "mouse buttons" on the touch pad only work when you touch a small area in the middle. The outside section of the touchpad does not react on the left side of the left mouse button or the right side of the right mouse button.

Could be mobile workstation lite!?
I use to use an HP mobile workstation. Just couldn't justify the cost for an upgrade. So, I took the time and had this customized HP Envy built. While mainly using it for email and such I also use it for CAD and have found it to be fast and reliable so far. I guess you could say this is my work horse!

Laptop damaged in shipping. Had to send back for exchange which has not been very costumer friendly
Laptop damaged in shipping. Packing materials inadequate. So I had to send it back to exchange it for one that’s not damaged. I have not been able to use it yet so no idea how much I’ll like it. Hopefully a replacement will be built and shipped to me soon. The process has not been particularly customer friendly. I had been buying Dell products but thought I’d try an HP. This may be my first and last HP depending how this isssue is resolved.

In for Repairs
When I turned it on for the very first time the screen had several red lines that run from the top to the bottom of the screen. Called the HP service line and the representative said it would have to be sent in to the repair shop, needless to say that is not what I wanted to hear, I was expecting to send this one back and get a new replacement. As I stated to the representative if I bought it at XXX store I would be able to take it back and exchange it not send it in for repairs. So as of today it is in the repair shop so maybe I will get it back as a Christmas present. Does not look good for HP when friends ask and I tell them oh I haven't used the computer yet, it is in for repairs. One even replied back and stated it sounds like you will have a "refurbished" computer when you get it. In my opinion it would have been better for the company's reputation to exchange the computer since it was brand new, I mean I did not even load a single item on the computer, never even made it past the set-up procedures so it's not like I had this for six months and the problem just came up. Okay I have vented but I hope I don't get any more "Tell Us What You Think" requests because this is the second one and each time it just makes me more frustrated to type in this info.
