Love the quickness!
Great product. Love the touch screen and display. Touch pad takes some time to get use to, very sensitive to touch. PC start up is much quicker than my old HP Envy. Overall quicker that my old pc. Keyboard is nice to the touch.

HP for me.
I have been using HP computers for 20 plus years, they have proven themselves to me. I like the larger monitor offered by HP, many others do not. A very nice unit, just have to get used to windows 11, coming from windows 7.

My new laptop
I'm quite happy with my new laptop, but after having my old one for 13 years I've experienced some learning curves which sometimes cause a little angst. I've had to adapt to new practices, some of which are good, and others not so good. It would have been nice to be able to do an automatic transfer of data from my old laptop to this new one so everything stayed the same.

Very Happy
I have been using my new HP ENVY 17t-cw000 for nearly a month. It was a replacement for a 10 year old HP ENVY 17 inch, which was basically the same model. The new ENVY has not at all disappointed me, I did some upgrades to the basic configuration with regards to the amount of RAM, Wi-Fi Bluetooth and monitor's resolution. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the performance and connectivity. I say this in spite of needing to purchase an Ethernet-USB adapter in order to use my modem via an Ethernet connection, which is my preference for my laptop versus a Wi-Fi connection with my router. However, my Belkin 7 port USB 2.0 hub works quite well thank you, for those connections that do not require USB 3.0 Thunderbolt.

A purchase worth the price
Very stylish; I am very happy with my HP Envy Laptop 17-cw0097nr. I spend a lot of time on my laptop working with different Office and internet apps and browsing the internet. This laptop is very user-friendly, and the speed is excellent. The screen is just the perfect size, clear and colors are vibrant.

A good laptop, except
The internal speakers do not provide a robust sound and even at a max volume setting leave a lot to be desired. My solution was to connect external speakers with a woofer bass that allows multiple frequency adjustments. An irritant is the overbearing Microsoft sales pitch for their application products. There seems to be no avenue for deleting/canceling their popups. But, to the point, the HP laptop itself is a good fit for my intended use. I always look to HP as my first choice for laptop replacement.

Its a great laptop. However.............
I wish that i could make and sell a product that is sent without ANY information on how to use it. That being said, the laptop itself is a very good product. Ordered with 32 GB of Ram and 1 TB of SSD drive, its fast. very fast, and well made. However.....why do I have to order a book on how to apply win11pro in order to get real value from the purchase? If you step back and look at the entire purchase, its like getting a new car without an owners manual. Hence the three stars.

battery life
the computer is very nice, but the battery dies pretty fast when just browsing around and watching videos. I plan on using this for pretty heavy applications, and it worries me that it'll die super quick when i start using them.

Great Laptop, Slow Delivery. HP makes great products, but is 20 years behind in being able to a quality laptop in the time we have grown to accept with the advent of Amazon. Using other words, HP is mindful of product design and quality, but has to quickly learn to compete in the modern age, the age of Amazon. It is all about being MINDFUL as a company in all dimensions of product design, build, quality, performance, delivery and customer service. Being a technical oriented company HP hasn't figured out how to deliver promptly. Being totally MINDFUL, HP could easily double sales in 2 years. Involve your employees to be MINDFUL and work on studying the product delivery. Having decades of experience with process improvement cutting delivery time in half is low hanging fruit. To reach the top of the tree, up where Amazon is picking, management needs to challenge and empower employees.
As you have noted, one word says it all, MINDFUL. Employees and a Corporation with a MINDFUL Mindset can excel. Good luck on your journey if you choose to make the commitment to excel.

Way more powerful laptop than I needed but, as my current laptop was failing, I needed a replacement quickly. That being said, I really like the speed, graphics, and sound of my new laptop. Windows 11 is taking some getting used to.

Shipping hassle
There has been a problem with Fed Ex shipment. Delivery driver came to the house 3 times on the same day while I was at work. Package has been shipped back to your warehouse. On line avatar no help. Finally able to speak with Marcy In customer service by going through only published phone number…..”Sales department”. Marcy was a big help and package will be resent back to residence. Once I get the laptop I’m sure I will really enjoy it. Note to the wise: computers shipped via Fed Ex require a signature.

Great laptop!
There are a lot of great features on this laptop. I migrated everything from my 2017 HP laptop with success. I did have to buy an ethernet adaptor as there is no ethernet port on any new computers, apparently. This laptop is fast, and I really like the facial recognition feature. To me, HP means quality.

Not shipped!
I have not enjoyed my laptop at all, primarily because HP has not even shipped it yet! I ordered the laptop on January 12, 2024 and as of today January 26, 2024, I have not received it. I have spoken with customer service 3-4 times without success in having my order completed. The shipping label for FedEx was created on January 12 but that has been the only thing that has happened, other than the fact that HP has taken the $1400.00 out of my account! FedEx has not received the laptop to ship to me.The automated system was absolutely no help whatsoever. It only tells me that “the item has been shipped on Friday January 2024. Whatever that mean. I ordered the laptop for work at my law office and did so because shipping was to be 3-5 business days. I was informed that there was a snowstorm in Tennessee, but surely it hasn’t lasted two weeks!
