Disappointed
Unit seemed to work well initially, but after a few weeks the auto feeder does not function and I cannot bring up cartridge ink levels indicator. Been too busy to spend time investigating how to fix. Also, I purchased the new 7955E unit because HP told me that my Model 7100 was too old. I later determined that a bad cartridge was the problem. With new black cartridge OLD 7100 still works fine.

Requesting to return the wrong printer and receive my refund in full.
This HP Printer isn’t what I ordered Hp sent me the correct Printer. I was told I had 30 days to return the wrong printer. I contacted them at28 days and was told it couldn’t be returned.

Good printer for the money
I bought this printer to replace a HP7800 I had for 10 years that would recognize the cartridges any longer. This is a comparable replacement in that it uses the same HP64 cartridges and has similar functions. My only issue is that there is no USB port for saving scans.

Easy to set up color printer
Printer easily talks to my laptops wirelessly and was a quick setup process - even for a non-techy like me. Cost of printers is quite reasonable too. And, each time we update our printer, the speed goes up, which is a nice side-benefit.

I enjoy the ease of use of the 7955e. We make copies, print documents, & print photos. Many of the things are done from our phones or laptop. I wish a manual would have been included, but HP tech support was AMAZING! She made set up possible.

Excellent!
This is a great printer for home personal use. It is exactly as described and quality is excellent. It does everything I need. And I was able to connect it, etc, to all my other devices by myself and it didn’t take long at all. The HP Printer Smart App was Extremely useful. I have always used only HP Printers & the very large ALL IN ONES. But I don’t use the large ones now, but I just have to say that my last HP ALL IN ONE lasted 15 years and it was used a lot!! 100 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️to HP!! I’m just having a very slight problem with my new HP ENVY Inspire e. When I go to print a notice comes up that says problem with paper; but it still prints, I notice the paper slides toward front of printer paper tray, and still have not been able to figure out why! So I have to keep pushing paper back into back of paper tray. I can’t figure out why it won’t stay in place. And I only use HP Paper. I highly recommend this printer!

I like the printer. The only thing that I have a problem with getting it to print out full size photos. Sometimes it prints them at the 4x6 size.

Good all in one printer
The set up for this printer was easy. I like the printer; however, there are two things that I don’t like. One, the crispness of the text is not as sharp as with my previous HP printer/scanner. Two, the part of the printer that catches the pages as they come out needs to be pulled out whereas with my other printer it was done automatically.

I have had my ENVY Inspire 7955e for about a month now and I am very happy with the performance and the looks of the printer. This is my third HP printer and I would never own another brand. I signed up for the HP Ink and paper and never have to worry about running out. I had used that service on previous printers and I love it!

HP - Best in Class
Replaced my HP printer with another one. After using several brands, I have been most satisfied with the HP. This one is sleeker looking, white (vs black), much quieter. and a bit lighter in weight. The functional difference is that the old HP had Faxing, which this one does not. I use scanning whenever I can, so not a major issue. Price, direct from HP, was comparable to all other pricing. Free shipping and 3 mos. free printing was a plus. Pleased with purchase.

How is this printer at scanning photos? I had an HP Photosmart quite awhile ago and it was great at scanning photos...very clear.
I bought this printer for the purpose of scanning photos. They come out looking blurry. You would expect an expensive printer like this to make things very clear but the fact is my dad has an HP OfficeJet printer that came out many years ago and the pictures look clearer than this HP Envy printer. I even called HP technical support and they couldn't fix it because this is just this printer is. It's pathetic actually. I highly recommend not to buy it unless you don't mind blurry looking pictures.

How do I get 3 months free ink with a 2 year warranty?
During the setup using the HP Smart app, you get a request to join HP+ which is complete free as well. If you accept that offer you get the 2-year warranty and then it gives you an offer for the free months of Instant Ink and you just continue to that section to claim the free months. I got the printer yesterday and while printing photos on hp glossy paper (which came with the printer) - the ink is all over the place. I called for tech line and we tried everything its still the same. Very disappointed by the purchase.
