Nice desktop computer
After my HP Envy desktop that was manufactured in 2012 started having issues and running slow I knew it was time to upgrade. I got a good price on this computer so I decided to purchase it. So far I’m happy with everything. The computer is very fast and handles everything that I’ve thrown at it with ease. There a plenty of USB ports for connectivity. The only thing that surprised me is that out of all of the USBs, only one of them is a USB-C. The rest are high speed USB-As. Not a big deal, just surprising. Overall I’m very happy with this computer.

Top Secret Power Switch
After using the HP ENVY computer for a couple months, I am very pleased with the performance although I custom ordered with upgraded ram and graphics. Hardware could not be better. Windows 11 tends to be intrusive, as expected. The trial period McAfee is mediocre. Overall, I am very pleased with my HP ENVY PC. That said, I do have a pet peeve. The power switch is a tiny slit requiring a thumbnail to activate. Be assured you will never accidentally turn on this PC.

Phone Support Nightmare
Ordered desktop with Office 2024. Received w/o Office 2024 installed. They couldn’t just give me a license number for reasons I don’t understand. They kept transferring me from one department to another. This went on for several days. They finally just get me a refund for Office 2024 2 weeks later.
I don’t ever plan on ordering another computer again from hp.com

Lacks Tech Description of Available Internal and External Ports
Probably a decent product, but doesn’t compare to the HP Pavillion I’ve owned for 11 years. No front lights other than Power, so can’t tell if internal storage is being accessed (like during image backup). Advertises internal PCIe expansion ports, but no way to find out what’s available on my unit. No tech info available on any of the individual front or back USB ports, or identified on the ports. Other than ads, there seems to be no tech info available for this unit on any of the HP web sites.

Working with hp customer service
Determined to be defective from hp phone tech support after multiple calls. The only option/ solution was for hp to do a factory reset that would erase all of my data that I just paid $75 for software to transfer from my old to my new that took about 8 hours. I have sent an email almost everyday for help without getting any "real help". I finally received a email response from a tech support person giving me a contact # and a tech ID # but I called for days for my call to be cut off.

From Laptop to Desktop
The transition from a laptop to a desktop computer has been a challenging experience. It is one that I knew would present a challenge. However, it was a change that I really felt was necessary to support my increased usage of my computer. There were many changes as I made this transition that I did not consider. You never think about all the devices like speakers, cameras and other accessories that you take for granted after many years of using a laptop.

Great Value
Found a great sale price on this computer just before Christmas. It was built to my chosen specifications and delivered before the HP predicted delivery date. The PC was very easy to unpack and setup was simple. I am very happy with its compact size and it is very quiet. The performance seems quite good and is more than adequate for the photo editing for which I will be mostly be using this PC. I also added a 2TB 2.5" internal SSD, which was quite easy to install into one of the available expansion bays. All-in-all I am quite happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to purchase another HP PC in the future.

great pc, but spec is confusing.
two different front views (no dvd slot)
no back or inside view - back has primitive usb ports.
spec says has second m.2, but occupied by comms.
does not say if has internal cables - one sata data for one drive, power for 2.
should say at least 4 sata connectors on mb.
told only one hd, but can add 2 x 2.5 ssd. hence max storage > 2 tb.
spec confuses what can be configured as opposed to what supported.
1tb m.2 ssd with two 2.5 ssd drives goes like a rocket.

I love it when something lives up to my expectations !
The mini desktop works great so far. It would be nice if it had a bit more space inside to allow for two 3.5 HDD's and 2 PCIe expansion slots instead of one each. But I knew that when I bought it. I was able to install two 2TB SSD in the space where one HDD would fit.
So far it's snappy and I'm getting the hang of Windows 11... gradually.
I separately bought a 3.5" DVD external USB3 enclosure so I can access DVD's and BluRay disks via a USB port. Seems to work well so far also.
The Nvidia 4060 is driving my three 27" monitors without issue. I'm not a gamer so I can't speak to response in that area.
Love the 32GB of RAM and the quick startup from the 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. All this coupled with the Intel i7 14 Gen CPU and the holiday sale price.. well I just couldn't pass it up !!

Lost of signal to the Smart TV
The reason it didn't get 5 stars is that when using the HDMI cable to my smart TV I get nothing but a pic of the desktop wallpaper. It's the same with the WiFi. It worked with my old PC and currently with the wife's laptop. I would appreciate some help with this issue.
I love the physical size, it's way smaller and lighter than any PC I've ever owned. And I'm getting used to the upgrade to Windows 11.

New Yea- New Computer
I purchased the computer from HP directly - rather than from an authorized dealer - primarily because it was less expensive - and i have had a great relationship with HP online in the past. This purchase went smoothly and setting up the new desktop was simple and straightforward

CORRUPTED WINDOWS 11
I've purchased previous HP products online and have always been pleased with their products. I purchased this new desktop to upgrade to windows 11. However, this time, I hooked everything up, turned it on, and thought I was up and running. I used it to pair with the new HP printer that I also purchased, and while everything was updating, I received a screen message that "Windows is corrupted." I tried rebooting and all the obvious start up tricks to no avail. I had to disconnect it and reconnect the old one. I'm not sure what to do with it at this point. I had already recycled all the packaging, and it was on the Holiday so reaching anyone by phone was impossible. My new HP Envy Is now unusable.
