Prettiest monitor
Ordered the HP 34m G4 WQHD Curved USB-C monitor for work purposes. I needed something ergonomic friendly and find a curved wide monitor works well because I don't have to turn my head so much and can face forward. Using two separate monitors caused pain in my neck from having to turn to each screen and not maintain facing forward. With the monitor I can have multiple windows up at a time and view all of them without having to click through, so it makes my work process much more efficient. I also love that it has a speaker built-in and camera that you can pop-up for meetings. The only negatives I'd say are it's heavy and I have had the speaker stop working for two days randomly when no settings were changed (thus why 4stars), then by the third day I started working and hasn't stopped since so maybe it can be faulty at times. Still, I love the monitor, it's got a very pretty aesthetic compared to other monitors and is sturdy. Note: My desk is 48inches wide in my picture for reference to how wide the monitor is and I'm using it with a Dell laptop computer from my employer. All you have to do is plug in the USB-C to your laptop and monitor and you're good to go.

Great monitor for WFH set up - loving it!
Great wide display monitor with everything you need for Webex/Teams meetings built in. Had a couple of hiccups at first with sound settings and volume that wouldn’t adjust. Figured out that if I connect the Ethernet directly into my laptop instead of going through the monitor that resolved the sound issue and a couple other annoyances. . Highly recommend it though.

No, the HP E34m G4 WQHD requires the Host PC to use Windows 10 or Windows 11 as the operating system. The webcam will not be compatible with macOS.

Will I be able to have multiple applications open at one time? I.E. I’m working with an excel spreadsheet on one side and another on the other. Also, I’ll be using an elite book laptop connected, so will the webcam default from the monitor?

Is this monitor comparable with a Macbook Air? I know that some Dell monitors don't work well with Macs.

Is it possible to have (3) Monitors connected to a docking station, that would allow you to toggle between all Three ?
Thank you for your question! HP does have Docks that can meet that need. It would greatly depend on what ports the host PC has as well. A Thunderbolt port or a DisplayPort is recommended, but a USB-C with DisplayPort Alt-Mode will work as well. The HP Thunderbolt Dock120W G4 and 280W G4 will both broadcast on up to four external devices, but the host PC must be capable of this.

Can this device have a secondary monitor daisy chained through the display inputs? My setup would be Laptop USB-C>USB-C E34m DP > DP secondary monitor. The marketing photos show that it should be able to, but I am finding conflicting information.

What is the purpose for the Ethernet Port
Thank you for your question! When connected to a compatible laptop with the provided USB-C cable, the HP E34m G4 WQHD Curved USB-C Conferencing Monitor can be used as a Docking Station. Most current laptops do not have built-in Ethernet, and the Ethernet port on this Monitor can be used for an Ethernet connection and a second display.

I just replaced an HP monitor with this one. With the old monitor I could turn on my HP laptop by pressing the monitor's power button. With the new e34mg4, this function does not work - I have to open my laptop to power on. Connected by USB-C. Thoughts?
