Great buy- Great and responsive touch monitor
The monitor works as indicated. The only thing that was not mentioned was to use with my computer I had to use both HDMI and Video cables. Once I used them, the monitor worked perfectly. The touch is responsive.

Solid Business Display With A Great Stand
Solid monitor (literally.. I mean it's kind of heavy for a 24", lol) but snapping the monitor into the stand head is a little difficult and awkward. Price is also a tad high for a Full HD (FHD, a.k.a. 1080P) IPS 8-bit non-HDR monitor in 2024 -- just realize a chunk of that extra cost goes into the stand that allows for every kind of tilt, rotation, vertical up/down, even rotating into portrait mode for those processing a lot of documents, etc. There's also two USB 3.0 Type A ports in the back and comes with all every sort of cable: power, VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB 3.0 Type A (plug into PC or dock) to Type B (plug into monitor to bring those two USB Type A ports alive).
Lastly, know that there are several variations of the E24 G5, such as ones that are 1920x1200 (E24i), have USB-C (E24u), are touchscreens (E24t), are QHD (2560x1440) (E24q), and more. Some of these variations are available in other sizes, e.g. the E22 models that are 22", though the E24 line has the most variations. The Z models are the top-end ones and Pro sits below Elite.

This monitor has only 1 hdmininput, can I buy a hdmi splitter and connect a 2nd device to the monitor?
Hello. Thanks for your question. If you have a laptop, you can use a Universal USB Docking Station. You want to be sure the docking station has the video ports, i.e. HDMI, that are on the monitors. If you use an HDMI splitter, it just mirrors your displays. A docking station allows you to have different screens on the two monitors.

This monitor does also have a built-in docking station. There is nothing preventing it from working with a Dell laptop as long as the Dell can support the USB C dock built into the monitor. If you are just using it as a display for the laptop, then you would just need the right display output type to work with the input types on the monitor.

how do i enable my mic on the HP E24mv G4?
Hello. Thanks for your question. When you open up the webcam, the microphone will be activated. Gently pull up the camera to unlock it by using the grips on the back of the camera. Page 4 of the User Guide shows you where the microphone mute button and the mute light are. Will this monitor work with an HP laptop with camera and docking station so that when the laptop is plugged into the docking station, the camera and speakers on the monitor will work instead of the laptop camera and speakers.
As long as the computer connected to the monitor through USB A to USB B recognizes those external devices hooked into the docking station, then it would be able to use them instead of the ones built into the monitor.

Is this monitor fully compatible with a Chromebook that allows display port over USB-C (Acer Chromebook Spin 314)?
This monitor does have USB-C DisplayPort 1.4 input. As long as the Chromebook has the USB-C with DisplayPort output, it should work. As for the Acer, that is not one of our products and we cannot verify the ports on it.
