It was on sale and so far its been worth the money

Adequate 3-STAR rating of HP 410 Slim Silver Bluetooth Mouse
I purchased the HP 410 Slim Silver Bluetooth Mouse as a companion to my newly purchased HP Pavillion Laptop (which I love!). This mouse garnered my 3-STAR (adequate) rating and out-of-the-box it is a wonderfully welcome plug-n-play device which I've come to enjoy from HP's overall mission to make computing as easy as possible! At the time of this review, I find this mouse to be very lightweight, very touch sensitive and herein lies the problem of being uncontrollable in my hands, which makes navigation a struggle. Sort of like driving your lightweight car being buffeted by stronger than usual cross-winds on the freeway. My initial impression, is a light-weight mouse vs. a heavy weight-mouse will center on my own learning curve to lighten my hand controls so I am not faulting this mouse itself. But bottom line: It's effortless plug-n-play feature works!

Nice Mouse For iPad
Overall, a great mouse. I have never used a Bluetooth mouse before and I needed one for my new iPad. This mouse works great with the OS, and it even shows the battery level of my mouse with is a nice touch. The mouse is quite slim which works great for me as a student since it is easy to travel with and take with me to and from class without adding bulk, but I can see how it might be uncomfortable for someone who prefers larger mice. Definitely would recommend though for a quality feeling piece of equipment for a good price.

I expected better from HP
So, my personal laptop is an HP Envy and I think it's a great product. Also have a couple of HP netbooks around the house. But, as good as their laptops & netbooks are, this mouse sucked. I'm almost thankful it lasted less than a month being carried to and from work. When it was working, the interface was funky in that clicking the left mouse button sometimes got a response from right button functionality. Overall, don't waste your money on this thing.

Always best to buy a mouse in person
I found out the hard way that you shouldn't buy a mouse without actually seeing it in person. This mouse was too flat and short distance wise to the mouse pad. Also too wide.

A bit late, but yes, it will be compatible with your MacBook, this monitor includes a USB-C cable which will power the monitor and your MacBook will automatically recognize ot. Very easy to use.

If there is a symbol of a lightning bolt (Thunderbolt 3) next to the USB-C port, then you can use this port to charge and transfer a video signal. This port supports Display Port alt-mode. Another option will be a USB-C to HDMI adapter.
