Outstanding Printer!!
I bought this HP printer to replace an HP printer that I have had and used for 10yrs!! There wasn’t any doubt that I would buy another HP!! Both of mine have been absolutely amazing! My first one lasted 10yrs and it cost almost the same as my new one! I just can’t say enough about my HP printer!! If anyone is in need of a new printer, I highly recommend HP!! Outstanding printer plus outstanding customer service!!

Not customer friendly
I purchased a new Deskjet pls 4155 and after 2 weeks I am happy with it. However, I am not happy with procedure to hook it up and get it printing. First you had no cable from the computer to the printer. There was no disk to use to activate the printer, For all my other printers over the years, I just had to plug it in and the printer was recognized by the computer.
I had to go on line to get the set up and running and that was the biggest mess I have ever seen. After you go through one step you are just brought back to the download screen. It does not tell you that the down load was successful or not. The same with the installation. It took me about 3 tries to finally get it and I still do not know how I got it. This printer is not hooked up for wi Fi because I had my old one that way and when it stopped working I tried to cancel my membership for ink. As it is I now have a box of ink cartridges paid for that I cannot use. Another thing, The way I read your message that my old printer would not work unless I remained with your instant ink program. I do not like the fact that I could get any help as to why my old printer stopped working. I could not get help as to why my printer no longer moved the ink carrier to the middle so I could replace the cartridges. Your diagnosis program said check fro paper jams or tray not all the way in. I checked both and neither one applied.
I wanted to buy a new computer, screen and printer, but after this mess with the printer I do not believe I will order from you again. Every thing you offer is in such a way that you have to buy other parts to set it up. For example , cables and keyboards. And for printers it is your instant ink program, which is somewhat acceptable except the printer must be on line for your checks and updates. I think you fail to realize that most users are not knowledgeable in set ups. We don’t know if a cable from an older machine will work on the new one etc. In short your service is NOT user friendly to the novice.

This is my second printer from HP, the first was good and more expensive but even the latest one is less expensive , I think it is really a better one and quicker for the printing.

The previous HP3755 I had did not automatically connect to my Mac. I had to change the IP address every time I printed. This one works perfectly with my Mac and it prints well.

Nice Little Printer
It is a nice printer for home office use. I only do a few pages a day and it suites my purposes. The setup directions were a litte light but it didnt take long to figure it out.

Either this HP desk jet 4155 was damaged, or it was not copatible with my iMac software. I could not get the information from HP that I needed. I is difficult to say if I would recommend this printer as I don't know, It might be the best printer but it did not work with my iMac. Printer was returned.

I moved my printer and since I've reconnected I can't get it to print. The paper comes out but it is blank.
