Do not buy- PRINTER DOES NOT WORK--waste of money
The printer arrived later than expected. I connected it to my computer and no matter what I did it would NOT work. I went online to find out information and discovered I needed to download an app to get the printer to work. I downloaded the app and found out it was going to cost me about $80/year more to have the privilege of using the printer. I called HP support and was on hold for over 30 minutes when the line went dead. The worst printer I've ever had. I bought my first inkjet printer when they first came out. I've had many between then and now...but I've never had to pay for the privilege of using the printer before especially after I already purchased the printer. It seems that you have to buy the printer, buy the ink, then "rent" the printer in order to use it . Needless to say I disconnected the printer and put it back in the box. I want to return it but there's nowhere to return it to because I cannot get hold of HP and tell them what happened and why I want my money back. If I could give the printer NO stars, I would. This printer is a COMPLETE RIP OFF. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED IN HP. I WILL NOT BUY AN HP PRINTER EVER AGAIN.

It's good for its sale price
W/B printing is good, Scanning W/B document is ok. Color printing seems not good but acceptable for me because I may not do much on color printing. I didn't try anything else.

Hello! I would like to ask about actual per print cost of this printer. I know it depends upon the use and it whether you take instant ink plan or separate cartridges... but if you could explain in detail it would be helpful.
There is not an easy way to answer this question, but based on current prices for the ink, you are looking at roughly 14 cents per page for a standard cartridge print and 11 cents per page if you use the XL cartridge with this printer for a standard document print. Instant Ink being completely based on the number of pages per month, if you print only 10 pages at the current 99 cents, you are saving at least 5 cents per page and that would not include how much more ink a photo uses or a graphic. You can print at the max dpi rating and save quite a bit. Instant Ink also will not cost you gas or shipping which is another variable.

Instant Ink cartridges are sent as needed, so it would vary depending on how many pages you print in a month. Instant Ink bases plans on the number of pages you are likely to print per month rather than the number of cartridges you use and will only charge the monthly fee based on the plan you picked starting at .99 cents for 10 pages and going up to $24.99 for 700 pages. If you opt-in for HP+ during the initial setup using the HP Smart app, HP+ is a support service for the printer and is completely free, you get the 700-page plan during the free period of Instant Ink that comes with it.

Can this printer 🖨 does faxing?
You cannot fax directly from this printer as it does not have a built-in fax line. If you opt-in for HP+ during the initial setup using the HP Smart app, you do get the HP Smart Advance app which has the Mobile Fax function that allows you to send a digital fax to a physical fax line. The scan can be done from your phone or printer once you have access to that feature.

This printer does have built-in Wi-Fi and you can use that to setup the printer. It uses the 67 and/or 67XL ink cartridges. I have a broken 8028e how dows this compare
The 8028e is an OfficeJet Pro printer, which includes a built-in fax, auto document feeder, and a touchscreen display for using the printer among other features. This HP DeskJet 2723e All-in-One Printer does not have any of those features. However, if you were looking for a printer for printing and basic copying at home. the HP DeskJet 2723e All-in-One Printer is a great choice.
