Just right for light home use
We have minimal needs for a printer. Just home tasks: printing, a few copies, and the occasional scan. This printer is an excellent choice. It looks good, functions well, and has all the features that we need. The price from HP direct was very reasonable.

Maybe, OK
Had trouble connecting wifi from laptop to printer. Wasn't able to a live person to help me.
Now have both my laptop and ipad hooked up, and printing has been working fine.
The best spot is that the printer being white, it matches my white desk.

I just love it!
I just moved in from Europe to the US and I needed to reeplace my HP multifunction printer. I started my research and I found out this printer on sale. I just bought it, I have been using it for scanning (the HP app is so easy to use), making copies, printing. Everything you need for your home printer. I just love it, it is a great replacement of my HP Deskjet 3636 from Europe.

Simple setup

Nice printer for the price
I just purchased this printer and it works fine. HOWEVER, the setup instructions are horrible. I happened to see a review prior to my purchase that said to be sure and set up to print from my cell phone first. If I hadn’t seen that review, I would not have known to do that. The driver was hard to find and install. Someone not familiar with a computer would not have been able to easily set it up. The instructions need to be clearer!!

Does its job well

Disappointing
The printer was a little difficult to set up. I still don't have the wireless set up. One of the needed cables was not provided and I had to use the old printer cable. If someone didn't have a previous HP they would have to buy an extra cable. I did not want a new printer but HP decided not to update my existing printer, which I loved. I'm not that crazy about the new printer. The paper rests in the back and not in a tray up front, which is awkward. I have to pull the printer out to use it because it doesn't really fit on my computer desk.

So far so good!!
So far this printer has met all my expectations! It came pretty quick...was easy to set up and has been easy to use! My parents have an HP printer and we have one at work and they have both worked great.. so when I decided to buy one I didn't even look at any other brand!! Difficulty printing
I bought my printer a couple weeks ago and it printed perfectly the first time I used it. I recently tried printing documents for my classroom and it took nearly 30 minutes for it to connect to my laptop, even though the app was showing a connection. It then started printing and would print half of a page and just push it out with the other half of the page blank. I was very excited for this printer so I could printed colored things for my students but it has actually become quite disappointing. I don’t know if it’s because it’s a wireless printer or if there is another issue.
