Do not buy not fully working.
The printer/scanner/fax only able to work as a printer. the scanner and fax functions do not work. Just buy a printer with these addition. Maybe consider get Cannon or Brother to have something that fully working.

Bumpy start
It was a little bumpy at first. random yellowing of pages, firmware update locked it up, some connection issues while printing, and still trying to figure out scan to email... But after a reset and a print setup it seems to be printing good. No more yellowing which is #1 and prints look good. But some of the setup isn't very user friendly....

The worst
It is horrible. The color looks nothing like the original, blue is grey and lime green is dark mint. It is also very noisy. I am sending it back.

I purchased this printer to replace my old Dell C2660dn (which I understand was manufactured by HP for Dell). The Dell was a terrific, reliable workhorse for many years. I expected the HP to be comparable.
I must state at the onset that this HP printer is an excellent value. It was easy to set up; customer service handled whatever issues I encountered with quick efficiency; the printer has thus far performed very well, the control panel is very easy to use.
Having said that, I must point out several things:
-- The accompanying software does does work in high contrast mode. With my impaired vision, I an unable to read their windows.
-- The plastic shell and trays seem to much flimsier that what I was accustomed to. I feel like I need to handle with kid gloves to prevent it from breaking.
-- The printer is very noisy. Over the years, I have owned many printers from a variety of manufacturers. This is the noisiest. I can not print if I am taking a phone call.
-- Although the printer printed out rapidly, the rime it takes to process my documents and send them to the printer is noticibly longer than with my other printers. Not an issue with single pages, but can take a moment or two for longer documents.
Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, but given the issues noted above, I can only give ir 4 stars.

Replacement All-In-One
I replaced 3 fully operational HP printers, one was acquired in 2004, with this one. So far it is doing an outstanding job of replacing the others. I fully appreciate not having to manage 3 printers that had the same functionality/capabilities as this one. Prior reviewers have indicated problems with this model as it aged. I will withhold judgement until/if a problem arises.

Easy to Use Reliability
This is an excellent product which meets all of my needs. I am a retired physician that teaches in an advanced specialty program. The multi function unit allows me to copy, email and share journal articles for discussion and review with my fellows. Having this in my home office is convenient and makes me efficient.

Difficult set-up instructions
This all-in-one copies pages beautifully, but the set-up instructions for scanning have taken my wife and me hours on live chat and after two weeks of frustration we have failed to connect it to our HP computer. We are in our 70s and it may be too advanced for our tech level.

What year is the production of this printer. I have a laserjet which is now 7 years old and according to your service department, my new HP computer does not support my old printer, therefor it no longer will scan. works great otherwise
You may want to look into a free application named NAPS2, Not Another PDF Scanner 2. It may work as long as you can install a TWAIN or WIA driver for the scanner portion of the MFP.

Connection Issue. My Mac mini can't connect to print documents via AirPrint. I have Google Fiber with an extension router. If I reset both modems, it will work for a while and then I'll eventually get the message that it cannot connect to the printer.
