When I installed the cartridges, the printer did not print despite running the diagnostic tools, clean and align the heads. This procedure was done three times plus other measures with no success. I would like to get a refund for the ink cartridges purchase. This is the third printer I have purchased from HP and all did exactly the same thing; this is a big disappointment of your products quality.

Usually I pop into a store to get my ink, but I find their prices to be cheaper and always feel more comfortable ordering directly through HP in case I ever have an issue with my product (usually don’t, but you never know!). which cartridge black ink is good for printer HP OfficeJet 8010e?

The HP OfficeJet 8010 printer uses HP 915XL and HP915 Ink Cartridges. The HP OfficeJet 8010 is not available in the US and neither are those cartridges. If you were referring to the HP OfficeJet Pro 8015e that will use the HP 910 series inks and are available in the US.

I have an Officejet Pro 8600. It came with a 950 cartridge CN049. It will accept those cartridges but others sold by HP as 950 black cartridges do not fit. The manual is silent on this. What is the right XL black cartridge for this printer?

Thank you for your question! The HP 950 and 950XL black ink cartridges are compatible with the HP OfficeJet Pro 8620. The compatible color cartridges (cyan, magenta, yellow) for that printer are the HP 951 or 951XL ink cartridges.
