Ease of installation

Great laptop for portable, emergency response work
I bought this a few months ago to bring with me as an adjunct for my emergency response work, including my use with emergency ham radio. It performs very well for this function. I'm able to open a few web pages to look up reference material, download it for local use and connect to my ham radio for emergency email over-the-air communications. This laptop is not good for gaming or for heavy duty work, but it certainly fits my needs.

I purchased this printer in the hope that I wouldn't be replacing overpriced ink or toner cartridges so frequently. I've had the out of toner message for a week and my documents are still printing well, so I'm glad I bought the toner ahead of time - when I do run out, I'll have the toner on hand.

Very slow delivery
Bought two 94x cartridge and was billed for and received three. Took eight days to receive. In frustration I ordered one from Amazon. Same price same HP cartridge. Received Amazon shipment in one day. Throughout the time was annoyed by the repetitive warning cartridge was low. Printing was perfect throughout.

Long lasting
I’ve used many HP printers and owned several. Black Friday I saw a printer on sale at a good price with a decent rating. I wanted a small printer so that I did not have to go upstairs to my office when I wanted to print a document from my iPad. Good bargains should bring on suspicion, especially at my age. I couldn’t make the printer work. After an experienced technician worked for three hours he quit for the evening and came back the next day. After an hour, he quit, telling me it wouldn’t work. I didn’t believe him and called tech support. We got it to work but it was a 8 step process each time I needed to print. I found others on line, called HP support because I wanted to be certain that I could make it work. One of the best moves I ever made. Got a great printer, expert help that answered all of my questions, and a extended toner cartridge that will bring my single copy price under $.035. HP printers are the best. I should have learned that long ago!

Works well with printer
I had purchased a non OEM toner cartridge and kept receiving printing errors from my printer. My guess is that HP builds something in to keep you from using toner by other manufacturers. After installing the HP toner I had no more errors
