I've got my fingers crossed.
The jury's still out on this HP94X print cartridge I just got. The last one was faulty from the day I got it. It was on official HP cartridge in the original box. I got it at a reputable local office supply store. When I installed it, my printer kept telling me the ink cartridge was low! I did some troubleshooting, found out this was a fairly common problem, tried reinstalling it, but none of the suggested tricks fixed the problem. So basically, I spent $100 on that cartridge and finally really did run out, but it lasted about 1/3 as long as the original one I purchased and I've printed less. That's with me nudging it along and ignoring "replace cartridge" messages every single time I printed. I'm hoping it was just a faulty cartridge. This time I ordered a replacement directly from HP so if it's faulty I can go straight to the horse's mouth.

The product does not give as many sides as advertised. In addition, the order confirmation stated arrival 3-6 business days. Instead, it arrived on July 8 - almost three weeks from ordering. This also means that HP Smart continuously pops up with messages to order EVERY TIME I print. Yes, I am still irritated and have a very low opinion of HP after years of ordering everything from desktop computers to faxes to printers. NOT HAPPY!

Whats good: The Toner Ctg provides excellent resolution in all print quality (resolution) levels 600dpi & 1200 dpi.
Whats dissappointing: The number of text pages printed has been quite a bit less than the alleged, as advertised, approximately 2800 page capacity, using a HP M118dw printer (mostly 600dpi resolution). Interestingly my HP Laserjet 1200 gets nearly the entire, as advertised, 3500 pages (600 dpi) of text documents.

Leaves black splotches on the edge of the paper.
I've never been so disappointed in an HP product as the m118dw printer. I would never recommend it to anyone, ever. After having an HP LaserJet 4MP in service for 25 years without a single problem, I've had nothing but trouble with the m118dw.
