I was worried about cost of ink but the color and durability of my HP6600 far out shines any cost per copy that I might be missing out on. I love the feature that printer tells me to make sure I have Ink cartridge on hand and what color is getting low. What a great feature. Used properly this feature will reduce the stress of running out of ink in the middle of the evening. Especially when you are trying to finish a project that has a deadline.

Lucky if our office got half of that out of the cartridge before having to order more. Switched from an off-brand, much cheaper product to HP ordered directly from HP.com, thinking that spending the extra money would get us a better yield but that has absolutely not been the case. Disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chuck78 from Problem with printer color I replaced the Magenta cartridge and my printer printed the yellow in green. Yellow cartridge was low so I put a new yellow cartridge in. Same problem. Then I put in another new Magenta cartridge. Same problem. Put printer through all the print head set up routines with no change. Now I have 2 new Magenta and Yellow cartridges open and 1 other new Magenta cartridge that I cannot use. I have replace the printer with a new HPOfficeJet Pro 8710. I now have a bunch of new 933XL and a black XL cartridge that I can not use. Lot of money I wasted. Hope the new printer holds up.

What I got was poor quality ink and the cartridges didn't last as long. Now I just order my ink from HP directly and get quality ink that comes in full cartridges. It might cost a little more, but it's worth it. Like the free next day (if necessary) shipping too.
