Returned it to wence it came, purchased the correct power supply from the HP Stores site, and now here I am the happy camper you see sitting in front of you today. It works just sooooo wonderful.

I'm expecting this one to last longer because it has more watts. It appears to charge faster but it doesn't last any longer between charges. Time will tell how well this continues to perform. Price wise, well that's another story... I prefer HP products for my devices but as far as this being a smart device, I'm not seeing that yet.

While the HP EliteBook 645 14 inch G10 does have the ability to use a 4.5mm barrel charger, some of the units are 45W and not 65W.
