Thank you for your question, the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdn is a black and white only printer that uses HP 58A or HP 58X. The difference between the two toners is yield. HP 58A yields up to 3,000 pages, whereas HP 58X yields up to 10,000 pages.
