Authentic!
Authentic is the way to go! I have messed up a printer by not using authentic HP toner. It is not fun to replace a very expensive printer.

Great Toner
I have used HP products for many years. The ink is of consistent quality. I tried another brand two years ago and it was a disaster. Ink bled out of cartridge and made my printer unusable.

Overpriced. Incompetent service.
Where to begin? First, HP's toner website recommended the wrong cartridge for my HP printer. After going through the hassle of having to return the original order, I ordered two cartridges that fit. However, HP sent the wrong color on one, so I had to reorder for a second time. On top of that, the HP printer regularly says a cartridge is low or has no ink when many printed pages prove that it still does. Furthermore, the cartridges themselves are super-expensive.

Don't buy an HP printer
These cartridges are outrageously and prohibitively expensive. It cost more than $1,000 to replace the four cartridges in my printer. If I had done a good investigation and found out how expensive the cartridges were, I never would have purchased an HP printer. A scam and a rip-off.

Great Toner, Bad Price Structure and Customer Service
Great toner, WAY too expensive. This printer is quite unaffordable to replenish the color and it’s almost better to run a black and white shop. I have a small business, I’m owner/employee number one and only. I do need to print presentations and applications once in a while, and of course double the printer’s use for home purposes, but man, I shouldn’t have to borrow money to keep this going. It shouldn’t cost more than the printer to replenish the toner to make it work. It’s almost cheaper just to buy a new printer every time and just get the free toner that comes with it, and that is wasteful. HP needs to get its act together on this and be more reasonable. To top things off, when I needed service from the company to help with a simple thing, I was told that the service charge would be waived for this one-time only. What? A service charge? For a printer I just bought a couple years ago, and for which I buy toner for regularly. This company needs a different pricing structure if this is what they have to do. It’s really not OK. Bad customer service, bad pricing structure, good product.

Cyan cartridge leaks
The cyan cartridge leaks and leaves blue spots down the right hand edge of every sheet I print. Very disappointing. HP should replace it.

Color balance problem
Color balance of the images from the printer is poor. There is no way to control the amount of magenta and yellow toner which make man picture images look out of balance for black, cyan, magenta, and yellow.

Outrageous Cost
I could not believe what I had to pay for ink cartridges. They have us over A BARREL and we have no option but to pay their ridiculously jacked up prices. I HAD to pay $931 for four cartridges- Black, Magenta, Blue and Yellow. These better last a decade!!

I have the HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dn. Need to order more toner. What is the best way to order an amount that will last? I believe I need W2020X (Black), Cyan, Magenta and Yellow cartridges. The cartridges that came with the printer are running low.
The HP 414X is the High-Yield toner for the HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dn. This cartridge will last longer than the standard-size toner.
