Problematic at best
I bought the larger cartridge so I could change it less. I had problems from day one, my printer didn’t recognize it, and I had to turn it off and on several times before it did. A week later I got the automatic message that the toner was out. Impossible with a week old cartridge, especially a high yield cartridge that I had used to print out 3 or 4 jobs. Again I had to turn the printer off and on several times before it continued as normal.
Because this is a brand new printer (which was working fine on the previous factory shipped cartridge), and brand new cartridge, I am not able to discern at this point if it’s the cartridge or the printer or a combination of both.

This review is not so much about the Toner cartridge but the annoying "Low Toner" pop-ups that started happening over 1,000 pages ago and which cartridge I am still using but it is time to change. Drop the alerts.

HP business practices
About a month ago I got a pop up on my computer telling me to get a new toner cartridge which I did. However since then I have been deluged by these pop ups every time I open my computer or switch screens. I contacted HP to stop this, but no one would take responsibility to do anything about it. This experience continues and is extremely distracting, disturbing, and an unsolicited intrusion on my privacy. It has sullied your reputation in my mind. I thought your company was better than this.

Difficult to find out what a 'standard' page ...
Difficult to find out what a 'standard' page of print actually is, we do not seem to get as many as we had hoped, but then our pages are very full of text.

just installed today so no experience yet. Purchased direct from HP via the web. Install was easy although directions were not furnished with neither the new Printer or with the cartridge. No problems I expect none.

Factory made ink is always going to be the best... You might be able to get ink cheaper, but... it's cheaper!!! I'm tired of cheaper printing and now just use factory ink...
